Join us for a magical winter adventure in The Northeast Kingdom . Ride your fat tire bike or snowshoe as we adventure through the snow on the Kingdom Trails Network. We have planned fun activities and great food for the weekend that you don't want to miss! Need a bike or need a room? No problem! East Burke Sports has the fat tire bike and we can get you a room at The Village Inn.
Friday Evening - Meet your guides at Hazel's for a meet and greet and grab a bite to eat. Learn all about what a Poker Rides is and how to play!
There will be an optional night ride at 7pm. We will ride for about 1 – 1.5 hours. Please bring lights.
Saturday morning - At 9:30 am the Poker Ride begins!! Dynamic Cycling Adventures guides will lead you to three stops before lunch. At each stop, you will have an opportunity to trade in a card to try and improve your hand. In addition, each stop will have a unique local treat for you to enjoy. We end our morning at 12:30 back at The Village Inn . Have lunch, relax, and enjoy
the view.
Saturday afternoon – After lunch, we hit the trails again heading out to our last two stops. Our journey will include panoramic views (perfect for taking pictures), and perhaps a surprise or two along the way. After our last stop we wind our back to The Village Inn for a drink in front of a fire with our new friends.
Saturday evening – Join DCA for a pizza party at Tomassoni's BIstro and drinks at Hazel's at 7 pm. Prizes will be awarded for the best two poker hands.
Perhaps you prefer to be outside…..join Dynamic Cycling Adventures for an outdoor bonfire with hot totties and s’mores.
Sunday morning – Meet DCA on Darling Hill at The VIllage Sport Shop Parking Lot for another day of guided riding and fun.
Grab Lunch around 1 pm at The Village Inn before heading out of town!

Patrick has been enjoying that simple pleasure of riding a bike his entire life; from racing on BMX bikes in his youth, to mountain and road bike racing as an adult. As a certified professional mountain bike instructor (PMBIA Level 2) and a Level 2 USA Cycling Coach, Patrick now shares his passion with other cyclists of all skills and fitness levels.
"For me creating and sharing a memorable riding experience is a day well spent in the saddle". Patrick can now be found instructing and guiding all over New England and the East Coast, and enjoying the simple pleasure of riding a bike.

Whit Rutherfurd has been riding bikes in the green mountains of Vermont for over two decades. With his knowledge of local trails and his naturalist perspective, Whit believes deeply in sharing the life-changing magic of bikes. When he’s not peddling and enjoying camaraderie in the woods, he can be found playing or instructing on the ski slopes and then cooking for friends and loved ones.
